Period of implementation: 1 September 2017 – 31 August 2020
About the project:
MotivAction project aims to support high school students in various regions of Europe with a series of competences and skills in becoming responsible, independent and successful adults. Project partners defined three basic fields of act regarding the improvement of life management skills of students, such as self-knowledge and self-management; career orientation and financial consciousness and literacy.
The competence and skill development will be realized by the combination of a mentorship program and series of trainings dedicated to high school students. In addition, project partners prepare an online database filled with various possibilities for students, such as education courses, trainings, voluntary possibilities.
Since it is a strategic partnership, each project partner gives a specific and unique contribution to the project goals. West University of Timisoara led a high-level situation analysis and research process in order to have input information for developing the training materials and the mentorship program. The research has detected some important attitudes of students and gives a general framework on thoughts and feelings of high school students. Then, partners formed an “International Training Group” delegating colleagues form their organization to work together and support the development of trainings, mentorship program and intellectual outputs.
Akademie Klausenhof, KatHaz Ltd, and Socialna Akademija organizes series of trainings and mentorship program for local target group, composed of 40 high school students (15-18 years old) per partner. Trainings and mentorship program are organized for two academic years.
In the framework of the project 5 Intellectual Outputs and 2 additional outputs will be developed. IO-s will be the curricula of the competence development trainings and a material of the mentorship program, as well as the Bank of Possibilities, which is the already described online database targeted to high school students. Additional outputs are the Situation Analysis and the International Training Group.
Furthermore, partners meet regularly to change experience, as well as to discuss learning outcomes of project activities and management issues.
